We are seeking a motivated Commis Chef to work closely with the Head Chef and a skilled kitchen team. This role suits someone with experience in fast-paced café, restaurant, function, or event environments who is passionate about delivering high-quality food. Both full-time and casual positions are available.

 

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain correct portion sizes
• Teamwork: Works well within a kitchen team to ensure efficient daily operations
• Hygiene & Safety: Upholds high standards of cleanliness and follows safe food-handling practices
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and work across different kitchen sections in a busy environment
• Following Instructions: Able to take direction from senior chefs and execute tasks correctly

 

• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a chef
• Availability to work five days per week across a seven-day roster
• Experience in high-volume production kitchens
• Relevant chef qualifications or equivalent trade experience
• Flexible, positive attitude with strong communication and customer service skills
• High standards of personal presentation and grooming
