About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Casual Chef to join our team on an as-needed basis. This role suits someone who enjoys flexible work, can adapt quickly to different kitchen environments, and is confident working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to venue standards and menu requirements

Maintain high levels of food quality, presentation, and consistency

Assist with menu prep, stock rotation, and managing kitchen inventory

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards

Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organised, and compliant with regulations
-
Step in during busy periods, staff shortages, events, or special functions
-
Communicate effectively with front-of-house and management teams
Requirements
-
Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role
-
Strong culinary skills and ability to work across different cuisines (preferred)

Food Safety Certificate (mandatory)

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and event days

Punctual, professional, and team-oriented attitude
